Students can immediately apply for a Student Visa at the Indian Embassy / High Commission in your home country after an admission letter / visa letter has been released.
Ensure that your student visa is accepted for the benefit of OPJS University.
Make sure you have applied for a visa well in time and in advance. The Indian Visa normally takes 3-8 weeks to obtain, so it is advisable to apply for the visa accordingly and, if necessary, visit the Indian High Commission / Embassy.
University or structural improvements should not be considered. In this scenario, you can go back to your home country and apply for a new visa.
If you have entered India on the basis of a Student Visa approved by OPJS University, it is your duty to ensure that you join and report directly to the University. For some other reason such as jobs, admission to any other university / college / institute / academy etc. or for non-regular (distance / online) mode of education, the visa endorsed on behalf of the University or obtained on the basis of University documents cannot be used.
Students must have the visa checked by the University after reaching the University Campus and have to deposit a copy of the correct visa & passport at the Foreign Aid Desk. It is the student's duty to ensure that the student is on a valid visa during his or her study time.
